WOYWW 254 - the neglected desk

Morning WOYWWErs and Fellow Bloggers,

After last week's epic post, this is going to be a brief, very brief, one today ... Julia, our Keeper of the Desk Register, will be pleased :) So without further ado, the desk as it is this morning.

As my title suggests it's a much neglected desk you're viewing ... the fabulous weather here has lured me outside and into the garden!  And what a mess it is too! It's my middle sister's 60th birthday soon and I'm planning to make this scrapbook in a tin for her, which is why there's several pages of photos lying beneath the lid. What else? A card made for last week's CHNC challenge but finished too late to submit, a pile of stamps that should have been put away by now, a pile of old original photos that have been scanned for printing out, and various glues, rulers, scraps of card and paper and other crafty bits and bobs ... as I said, a mess! It's forecast to rain this afternoon so perhaps I'll get something crafty done then :)

So that's my less than creative desk today; if you would like to see many much more interesting desks just pop over to Stamping Ground - it will be a revelation :)

Happy WOYWW,

Make hay while the sun shines Elizabeth! I like the card in a tin idea, looks like you have lots of nice photos to chose from too. I like your card at the back, plenty of other challenges to enter it in too, so not too late! T recognise the PB stamp you've used. Hope the rain holds off and you get more done in the garden.

Oh, I've been outdoors a lot too...though doing things carefully as I've pulled a muscle in my back, which is blooming sore!!!!! I've been crafting in the evenings as I'm not much of a TV watcher.
That box for your sister sounds great fun, you'll have to show us it after your sister has received it of course!

considering we don't always get nice weather I think we should all be outside when the sun shines up here.

Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for visiting this week.

A marvelous idea you have, I'm sure your sis will love it.

The warming weather has been tugging at me this week too. Now that I feel better, I see so much that needs to be done. Bought herbs and flowers yesterday, so today is planting day......right after my coffee with friends.....LOL

Oh I'm sure your album will be super cos I've seen what you do, I love the 'in the tin' bit cos it's a great way to store them too. I've spent some time up my garden too, with Baxter, sat in the sun. I read. Which is something I love to do when it's warm out. Fab WOYWW, yes I'm a tad late but never mind hey! Hope you have a great weekend. Take care Zo xx 53

The scrapbook for your sister sounds like a fun idea. It is difficult to balance time in the garden with time creating inside. Looking forward to seeing photos of that scrapbook when it's done. Diane #52
